Installation via HTML Codes

The easiest way to install Consentio on Shoptet. Follow these steps:

1. Log in to the Shoptet administration
2. Go to Appearance and Content → Editor → HTML Code
3. Select the Header (before the closing HEAD tag) section
4. Insert the following code
5. Save your changes

Deactivating the Built-in Shoptet Cookie Banner

After installing Consentio, we recommend deactivating the built-in Shoptet cookie banner so that two banners are not displayed simultaneously.

1. Go to Appearance and Content → Cookies
2. Deactivate the built-in cookie banner
3. Save your changes

Blocking Scripts on Shoptet

On Shoptet you can block third-party scripts using the type="text/plain" attribute with the data-category data attribute. Here are examples for common Czech services:

Multilingual Support

Consentio automatically detects the language from the lang attribute on the <html> element. Shoptet sets this attribute according to the e-shop's language settings.

Compatible Services

HTML Code Limit

Shoptet has an 8,192-character limit for HTML codes in the header. The Consentio script is well under this limit (approximately 100 characters), so you have plenty of space for other scripts as well.
