1.2 Definitions
For the purposes of these terms of service, the following definitions apply:
- Provider - David Azarian, Business ID: 17064619, operator of the Consentio service
- User - a natural or legal person who uses the Consentio service
- Service - the Consentio software service provided as SaaS (Software as a Service)
- Agreement - the service agreement concluded between the Provider and the User
- Widget - the cookie bar/banner implemented on the User's website
- Consent - the website visitor's consent to cookie processing
- Dashboard - the web interface for service management, accessible after login
2. Subject of the Agreement
2.1 Service description
Consentio is a cloud service (SaaS) for managing cookie consent and ensuring website compliance with GDPR and the ePrivacy Directive. The service includes:
- Customisable cookie banner/widget for websites
- Automatic cookie scanning and categorisation
- Consent record management and storage
- Consent analytics and statistics
- Google Consent Mode v2 integration
- Multi-language and geolocation support
- API for programmatic integration
2.2 Method of provision
The service is provided remotely via the internet. The User gains access to the service through the web interface (Dashboard) and a JavaScript widget implemented on their website.
3. Conclusion of the Agreement
3.1 Registration
The agreement is concluded at the moment the User:
- Completes registration by filling in the registration form
- Confirms agreement with these terms of service
- Verifies their email address by clicking the confirmation link
3.2 User requirements
Only the following may become a User:
- A natural person over 18 years of age with full legal capacity
- A legal entity acting through an authorised person
3.3 Acceptance of terms
By registering and using the service, the User confirms that they have read these terms of service, understand them, and agree to them in full.
4. Prices and Payment Terms
4.1 Pricing plans
The service is provided in four pricing plans (one free, three paid SaaS subscriptions):

Note: The Provider is not a VAT payer; prices quoted are final. EU customers outside the Czech Republic with a valid VAT number are billed under the reverse-charge mechanism (Directive 2006/112/EC). Annual billing saves approximately 30% compared to monthly.
4.2 Payment model
Paid plans (Solo, Pro and Agency) are recurring SaaS subscriptions billed monthly or yearly. The User may switch between billing intervals or cancel at any time; after cancellation, access to paid features continues until the end of the current billing period, after which the account reverts to the Free plan automatically. A 14-day Pro trial is included automatically with every new registration; no payment information is required to start the trial.
4.3 Payment methods
Payments are processed through the Stripe payment gateway. We accept:
- Payment cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
- Bank transfers
4.4 Payment due dates and automatic renewal
Subscriptions are automatically renewed at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly, depending on the selected interval) unless cancelled. The User will be notified of any upcoming renewal payment by email at least 7 days in advance for yearly subscriptions; monthly renewals are charged on the recurring billing date without separate advance notice.
5. Trial Period
5.1 Conditions
The Free plan serves as a permanently free version of the service. Every new registration also includes a 14-day Pro trial: the User automatically gets full access to advanced features (multi-language support, custom CSS/JS, per-category scripts, Google Consent Mode v2 Advanced, the cookie policy generator and full analytics) for 14 days at no cost and without a credit card. When the trial period ends, the account reverts to the Free plan automatically; nothing is subscribed or charged unless the User explicitly upgrades.
5.2 Upgrade to a paid plan
- Upgrade is a recurring SaaS subscription (Solo, Pro or Agency), billed monthly or yearly
- Paid plan features are activated immediately upon successful payment
- The subscription automatically renews at the end of each billing period unless cancelled
5.3 Paid plan cancellation
Upon cancelling a paid subscription:
- Paid plan features remain active until the end of the current period
- After the period expires, the account reverts to the Free plan
- Data is preserved regardless of the outcome
6. Rights and Obligations of the Provider
6.1 The Provider undertakes to
- Provide the service in accordance with these terms
- Ensure service availability of at least 99.5% uptime (SLA)
- Inform the User of planned maintenance at least 24 hours in advance
- Protect User data in accordance with GDPR
- Provide technical support on working days
- Regularly update the service and fix bugs
6.2 The Provider is entitled to
- Perform maintenance and updates to the service
- Restrict or suspend the service if the User breaches the terms
- Change the features and scope of the service with prior notice
- Terminate the provision of the service with 30 days' notice
7. Rights and Obligations of the User
7.1 The User undertakes to
- Use the service in accordance with these terms and applicable legislation
- Provide truthful and up-to-date information
- Protect account access credentials
- Not provide account access to third parties without authorisation
- Not misuse the service for illegal purposes
- Not attempt to circumvent technical limitations of the service
- Make agreed payments on time
7.2 The User is entitled to
- Use the service within the scope of the chosen plan
- Change the pricing plan at any time
- Request technical support
- Export their data
- Delete their account and request data erasure
7.3 Prohibited use
It is forbidden to use the service for:
- Websites with illegal content
- Distribution of malware or harmful software
- Phishing or fraudulent activities
- Infringement of third-party intellectual property rights
- Spam or unsolicited communications
8. Limitation of Liability
8.1 Scope of liability
The Provider is liable for damages caused intentionally or through gross negligence. Liability for damages caused by slight negligence is limited to the amount of payments made by the User in the preceding 12 months.
8.2 Exclusion of liability
The Provider is not liable for:
- Damages caused by the User's improper use of the service
- Damages caused by third-party outages (internet, hosting)
- Lost profits or indirect damages
- Damages caused by force majeure
- The User's website compliance with legislation - the User bears responsibility for correct implementation
8.3 Service availability
The service is provided "as is". The Provider endeavours to ensure maximum availability but does not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Planned maintenance will be announced in advance.
8.4 Consumer protection
The liability limitations set out in sections 8.1 and 8.2 shall not apply to consumers to the extent they would conflict with Section 1814 of the Civil Code. Consumer rights arising from mandatory legal provisions are not affected by these terms.
9. Personal Data Protection
The processing of personal data is governed by a separate document: Privacy Policy.
The relationship between the Provider and the User regarding the processing of consent data from website visitors is governed by the document: GDPR Information for Customers.
10. Withdrawal from the Agreement
10.1 Right of withdrawal (consumers)
A consumer User has the right to withdraw from the agreement without giving a reason within 14 days of concluding the agreement, pursuant to Section 1829 of the Czech Civil Code.
When purchasing a paid plan, the consumer grants explicit consent to the immediate provision of the service before the expiry of the withdrawal period (Section 1837(a) of the Czech Civil Code).
10.2 Withdrawal procedure
To withdraw from the agreement:

- Provide your name, email, and reason for withdrawal (optional)
- A refund will be issued within 14 days using the same payment method
10.3 Full refund
If you withdraw within 14 days, the full amount paid will be refunded without any fees.
10.4 Cancellation after 14 days
After the 14-day period, the User may cancel the service at any time. The service will remain active until the end of the paid period and will not be renewed.
11. Complaints and Support
11.1 Technical support

11.2 Complaints procedure
Complaints may be submitted:

- The User will be informed of the result by email
11.3 Out-of-court dispute resolution
In the event of a dispute between the Provider and a consumer User, the consumer has the right to out-of-court dispute resolution through the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (CTI):

12. Changes to Terms
12.1 Right to change
The Provider reserves the right to change these terms of service.
12.2 Notification of changes
The User will be informed of changes:
- By email at least 90 days before the changes take effect
- By notification in the Dashboard application
12.3 Disagreement with changes
If the User does not agree with the changes to the terms, they have the right to terminate the agreement before the effective date of the new terms without any penalties. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
13. Governing Law
13.1 Legal framework
These terms of service and all relationships arising from them are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic, in particular:
- Act No. 89/2012 Coll., the Civil Code
- Act No. 634/1992 Coll., on Consumer Protection
- Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR)
13.2 Jurisdiction
Czech courts have jurisdiction over disputes. The locally competent court is the court of the Provider's registered office (Prague), unless otherwise stipulated by law.
14. Final Provisions
14.1 Severability
If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in effect.
14.2 Entire agreement
These terms of service represent the entire agreement between the Provider and the User and supersede all previous arrangements.
